The Norwood Green Display Centre opened to the public on Saturday 8 June with an event that welcomed local residents and potential buyers.
The Display Centre, built within the last remaining structure of the historic Caroma building at 100 Magill Road Norwood, features a full-sized apartment living area, bedroom and bathroom and is complete with finishes and inclusions.
Demolition at the site is complete and Norwood Green Project Director, Daniel De Conno said the Display Centre will be the stylish new hub for the project.
“The Norwood Green Display Centre will give people a real sense of the design and style of the city-fringe lifestyle offering. We will be showcasing the best products and finishes to truly make Norwood Green a place for everyone.”
“These townhouses and apartments provide a rare opportunity for people to purchase new, high quality homes in Adelaide’s sought-after inner east with a new ALDI Supermarket and Norwood’s finest eateries and pubs within easy walking distance,” Mr De Conno said.
Mr De Conno said the Norwood Green development is tailor-made for people who want to live in Norwood and remain close to the city of Adelaide.
The project features a central park and piazza area, which has been designed as a community space and meeting place for Norwood Green residents and the local community.”
“There will be ample parking for residents and visitors by virtue of a full basement across the apartment building. With the development’s location on the doorstep of the East End and Kent Town, it is well suited to explore the ever-expanding neighbouring food culture.”
The site is being redeveloped by experienced retailers and developers, Aldi, Buildtec and Catcorp.
Friends of the project celebrated the milestone with a private event on Tuesday 28 May.
